Announcement: No more accepting of orders once spree has closed
Dear Shoppers,After dealing with some unreasonable customers, ashoppingdiva has decided not to accept any more orders once spree has closed.
The scenario goes like this:
1) We have already closed the spree and stated that all payments must be in by 8pm, 2 days later.
2) On the day of the payment deadline (which is today), at about 5pm, they come and request us to accept their orders and they said that they can pay immediately.

3) Their orders of about 6 items was sent in at about 6.30pm, and we replied with payment details at about 7pm.
4) At about 8.30pm, out of goodwill, we smsed them and asked if they have made payments.
5) They replied at about 10 mins later that they "will be making payment like soon thru i bank and need our account number." (This means that they did not check their e-mail for payment details) and at 8.46pm, they smsed to say that ibank can't seem to be working and will make payment asap. (But I-Banking for DBS was working perfectly fine, cause we were using it at that time to check payments)
At 8.47pm, they smsed to say that they may have to wait awhile for dbs java to work.
6) We replied at 8.48pm that we'll process their orders after payments is received, and gave them a time grace up to 9pm. (Paying through I-Banking should be quite fast. So about 12 minutes is more than enough, isn't it so?)
7) Their reply at 8.57pm was they will definitely pay cause they want those items and at 8.58pm, they smsed to say that they will try to and that their laptop can't load the ibank page and at 8.59pm, they said that they can make payment now cause it's working and they apologised for the delay.
8) We smsed them at 8.58pm that we understand and urge them to make payment asap as the spree has already closed and we accepted their orders because they said that they can make payment immediately
9) We sent them another sms at 9.06pm asking them to let us know as soon as they have transferred and we will check.
10) At about 9.15pm, we decided that we can not afford to wait any longer and so we informed them that we are placing orders now and that their orders will be cancelled as payments was not in.
11) Order was placed at about 9.25pm on Forever 21 website.
12) 9.35pm - They smsed to say that they can finally transferred the money and urged us to wait for them. We replied that we have already placed order on forever 21 website and requested them not to make payment to us.
13) 9.36pm - They replied that they have made payment and asked us to check.
14) 9.40pm - They asked us to do a refund since we have not included their order. We replied immediately with the following message: "Received, but have already placed order..sorry about it..have already refunded you..transaction ref xxxxxxxxxx..pls check, n hope to serve you again in future
15) Their reply was as follows: "Nope wouldn wanna deal with you anymore" and "Its just a few mins grace and u won't give me. Cos of dbs slow sending of the otp" in 2 separate sms.
16) We replied with a 5 sms long message as follows: "Hi..it's not our fault tt ur ie can't load e dbs page's jave applet..it's stated very clearly in e spree post tt e spree is closed and payments must be in by 22 june 08, 8pm..u said u can pay immediately at abt 5pm, hence we accept ur order..we have waited more than an hour since 8pm 4 ur payment to be in before we placed order on e forever 21 website at 9.25pm..we also informed u tt we'll cancel ur orders since payment is not in and we have to be fair to other shoppers before e order is placed..we trust tt we have not done wrong and have done our best in serving you..as a blogshop owner urself, do put urself in our shoes and try to be more understanding..thanks for supporting us and we apologise tt this deal didn't manage to fall thru.
17) They replied, "Forget it man"
Now, tell us if we were wrong..We trust that we have done our best in serving each and every one of our shoppers..
After this incident, we have decided not to accept any more orders once it's stated in the spree post that the spree is closed.
All orders that are received after the closing time stated in the spree post will not be accepted and will be ignored. We'll stay firm in our stand here and nothing will deter us from changing this stand here.
We hope that with this stand, it will encourage you to send in your orders earlier, thus giving you more time to make payment.
